"I’d really like to see the black superhero archetype bought back and produced mainstream. So many of the icons that I grew up reading aren’t around anymore, like Steel, Black Panther, Luke Cage and of course my favorite: Static Shock. I want to see more movies where the black character was the lead rather than the token. Remember Meteor Man? Up Up and Away? Lesser characters have million dollar movie deals. Look how many times they have remade Spiderman on the silver screen! Even the dork shooting arrows has his own show. But a black supernerd with nappy hair kicking ass is too hard to sell? We funded a kickstarter campaign for some dingus to make potato salad for cryin out loud! Some comics shouldn’t be too hard."
